It is normally expected that a successful customer will own any Intellectual Property resulting from the project. If this is not the case, the applicant can demonstrate at the time of application by a letter of understanding or a draft agreement relating to the Intellectual Property. If the application is approved, these arrangements will need to be formalised before a Grant Deed is executed. The Grant Deed will also address the way you can deal with project Intellectual Property to ensure that the planned outcomes of your project are achieved.
